Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered Announced For PS4 And Xbox One
Launching on March 20 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 20, Ubisoft announced today.
The remaster will include all of the game's add-on content and two bonus missions, The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and The Siege of Fort de Sable. The game will also feature the Master Templar and Explorer packs, which contain customization items, weapons and special outfits, like Bayek’s legacy outfit from Assassin’s Creed Origins.
The re-release is being handled by Ubisoft Sofia (the studio behind the original game) and will run at a standard 1080p resolution with 4K support on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. A listing for the remaster was first spotted last month.
Assassin's Creed Rogue initially released in 2014 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and later came to PC in early 2015. The game is set in 18th-century North America and tells the story of Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin who eventually becomes a committed Templar.
In my review of the game, we call Assassin's Creed Rogue "an intriguing addition to the series" which "lacks the depth its story deserves."
